  • Before use: Rinse clay cover
  • Before cooking: soak Terra Cotta lid for 10 minutes in water
  • Cooking: Place unit in cool oven
  • Clean up: Rinse clay cover and wash base with detergent
  • Storage: Thoroughly air dry
  Periodic "deep cleaning" of the Terra Cotta lid is recommended: soak in a mixture of baking soda and water then rise.
